Pros of living on Carenero Island: Small island lifestyle, beaches are great, activities are abundant such as snorkeling, surfing, and stand-up-paddeling, easy to get around with water taxis available all around the island almost throughout the entire day.
Cons of Living on Carenero Island: ‘Chitras’ (no–see-em or sandflys) but with enough work you can get rid of them, no roads but this can actually be a pro (best is to invest in a boat).
